Adding the video makes people more attentive by knowing that others in the meeting can see them and allows them to stay focused on the meeting at hand. Also using video conferencing allows for more effective communication and a more personal experience during the meetings. Being able to see all the members makes you more inclined to use communication skills that we all have learned from face-to-face conversations.
